Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. The company observes a holiday break during Christmas week and New Year's week.

Salary: $29 - $32 per hour

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist/Buyer to join their client's team at a semiconductor manufacturing company in Leominster, MA. This is a long-term temporary position with an immediate start date. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various procurement tasks and ensuring seamless operations within the new ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Review and update existing Purchase Order specifications within the new ERP system to ensure they reflect current requirements and product standards.
• Audit and clean supplier master data, verifying accuracy of contact information, tax IDs, payment terms, and compliance records.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance team to communicate with suppliers regarding necessary changes to product or material specifications, ensuring all parties are aligned before data migration.
• Solicit and gather updated quotes from preferred and alternate suppliers for key materials and goods, ensuring competitive pricing is captured in the new ERP system.
• Cross-reference supplier and PO data against the new ERP format to identify gaps or errors before final migration.
• Maintain clear records of all specification changes, supplier communications, and quote solicitations for audit and project sign-off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Vendor Management.
• Strong understanding of Purchase Order (PO) structures and specification documentation.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
• Familiarity with supplier data management and quote comparison processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments (especially Quality and Warehouse).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data sources simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Excel and standard procurement software tools.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
